Parts Listing
![]()
This
Parts section follows the general layout of the Parts and Technical Reference
Catalog. But it is not a copy or complete. Use this section as an aid to
identification and especially to compare commonality of parts across the 924 series
and with other makes and models. Some prices from recent purchases are included. The
prices are neither current or lowest. Just what members have found. The parts
numbers may not be current! The only definitive parts reference is that of a current
dealer reference.
A listing of the common, and not so common, Parts Sources in Canada used by members is here.
There's a few additional cross-references at the Porsche Club in Queensland, Aus. in this document.
The 'KEY' is reference to the illustrations in the Parts and Technical Reference Catalog.

| 924 | 1977-82 | 931 104 337 06 | Cylinder Head Gasket I measure about 1.5mm thick (new) if you're interested. | |
| 924T | 1980-82 | 931 104 337 03 | Cylinder Head Gasket ?Use this slightly thinner gasket on a 924 to raise the compression about 1/2 pt. ? unverified and no measurements available. | |
| 11 | 924S | 1986-87 | 928 105 189 02 | Gasket,
Cam Cap - The Parts/Reference book lists this gasket under Cylinder Head, Key 11. I
thought you might be looking here for it: this is the cork gasket
which so often leaks. Cause its a cork gasket, that's why. So much for the art of
German engineering. Anyway, easy to replace and a whopping $1.00!! |

500 bucks that rare Porsche that has been sitting in a barn for the last thirty
years deal than you would one of these.
Now if anyone knows the duration and lift on these cams please let me know. Bob Dodd |

they should go for what? +15% and shipping? Good luck. |
